This school year has been moving at light speed! Despite our progress, please make no mistake, there is still much to be done and plenty of time left for us to accomplish our goals. That being said, I want to draw your attention to some very important events coming up in the next few weeks The AJHS office will remain closed through Friday, January 10 th . The office will be open on Monday, January 13 th . AJHS staff and admin will not be present. They will be offsite for professional development. The 3 rd quarter of the 2019-20 School year will run from 1/14/20 to 3/24/20 Special Homeroom on Tuesday, January 14 th for Dissemination of new student schedules AJHS DC Parent Meeting Scheduled for Thursday, January 16th from 6:00 to 7:00 pm in the AJHS Gymnas ium 2 nd Quarter grades and report cards will be disseminated on Tuesday, January 21 st We will have no school on Monday, January 20 th As usual, we will be starting the quarter with a special Homeroom Schedule (See Below.) Students will report to Homeroom to receive their third quarter schedules and then report to their first period class and so on. This schedule will not impact normal start and release times for the day. The AJHS DC parent meeting for current 7 th grade families is scheduled for Thursday, January 16th from 6:00 to 7:00 pm in the AJHS Gymnas ium. Attendance is mandatory. If a parent or guardian does not make one of the meetings, the student will not have access to this trip. 2 nd Quarter Report Cards will go home on Tuesday, January 21 st the day after the MLK Holiday.
